As a Sanders Democrat, I am running for Central Committee so that I can help transform our community and improve people’s quality of life locally. I support a living wage, universal healthcare, affordable education, sustainable energy, and sustainable food policy.
I’m interested in building community and having conversations with residents about ways to promote sustainable healthy development in our community, while protecting our beautiful local natural resources.
I have experience as a community organizer, and I have advocated for better policy decisions at our local and national level. I am also a trained paralegal and believe that my paralegal experience will allow me to be more effective in determining how legislation might affect our local community.
I am married and have a daughter. I enjoy cycling and spending time in the beautiful outdoors while organically growing our food. I also enjoy caring for my many animals, which include chickens, goats, horses, dogs, and cats.
